Did you happen to catch our post about the Magic of Custom Drapes? In that post we shared with you some of the custom styles and finishes that we use when working with clients on custom drapes and window treatments. Today, we wanted to show you Part 2 of our video series.
What to consider when planning window treatments:
- What kind of privacy do you need?
- How much light do you want to let in?
- Do you need to be able to completely close the window treatments?
- What style of fabric will you use- pattern, floral, stripes, solid?
- What shape is your window?
- What is your budget?
In this video, The Peddler’s in-house interior designer, Jerome Farris walks you through some of those design considerations and shows some solutions he put together for a recent client in The Grove. Jerome collaborated with Diane Preston of Diane’s Interior Creations in Murfreesboro, TN. Diane has been sewing our clients’ custom window treatments for many years. She is an important part of our team and her quality is incredible. We also work with custom metal fabricator Bill Crick of B & B Metal Designs. He creates custom hardware for our client’s window treatments.
